Terms of Service
Effective date: February 6, 2026
Plain-English summary: Bridge provides non-medical, door-through-door appointment support in Lincoln, NE. We are not a medical provider, not an ambulance, and not a home-care agency. Helpers do not provide medical care.
1) Who we are
"Bridge" ("we," "us") provides a concierge marketplace service in Lincoln, Nebraska that matches customers with local Helpers for appointment support and related errands. Bridge coordinates scheduling and communication and facilitates payment.
2) Services
Primary service: Doctor/Hospital Appointment Support — $69 flat.
- Pickup at home
- Walk inside clinic/hospital
- Wait during appointment
- Escort back to vehicle
- Return home
- Optional confirmation to a trusted contact
Secondary services (if offered): Grocery/pharmacy run ($39) and companionship/light housework ($29/hr).
3) What Bridge is NOT (non-negotiable)
- No medical advice, diagnosis, treatment decisions, or clinical advocacy as a provider
- No medication administration, injections, wound care, or handling controlled substances
- No lifting beyond safe, common-sense mobility assistance (Helpers may refuse any task they deem unsafe)
- No insurance billing (out-of-pocket only)
- Not emergency care: if there is an emergency, call 911
4) Eligibility & authority
By booking, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have authority to arrange and pay for the requested service (for yourself or the senior). If you book for someone else, you confirm you have their consent to share relevant information with Bridge and the Helper.
5) Safety & helper discretion
Helpers may refuse or stop a service if conditions are unsafe or outside scope (e.g., medical tasks, aggressive behavior, unsafe environments, weapons present, intoxication, or severe instability). If a situation appears emergent, the Helper may call 911.
6) Scheduling, timing, and wait
Appointment times can be unpredictable. The service includes waiting during the appointment unless the customer requests otherwise. Clinics can run late; your total duration may vary.
7) Payments, fees, and tips
Prices are shown at booking. Taxes may apply. Tips are optional unless required by law. Bridge facilitates payment and pays Helpers.
8) Cancellations & refunds
- Cancel 24+ hours before scheduled pickup: full refund.
- Cancel less than 24 hours: a cancellation fee may apply to compensate reserved Helper time.
- No-show (Helper arrives and customer is unavailable): may be charged in full.
If Bridge cannot staff your appointment, you will not be charged (or you'll be refunded).
9) Customer responsibilities
- Provide accurate pickup address, appointment details, and mobility needs (walker/wheelchair, stairs, etc.)
- Ensure the senior is ready at the agreed time
- Disclose any known safety concerns (pets, steps, smoke, etc.)
- Bring required medical documents, ID, insurance cards, and a current medication list
10) Liability & disclaimers
Bridge is not liable for clinical outcomes, missed diagnoses, provider decisions, or health complications. Transportation delays, clinic delays, weather, and third-party events can affect timing. To the extent permitted by law, Bridge disclaims all warranties and limits liability to the amount paid for the service in the prior 30 days.

12) Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Effective date" above reflects the latest version.
