Plain-English summary: Bridge provides non-medical appointment execution support in Lincoln, NE. We help independent seniors get to, through, and home from medical appointments. We are not a medical provider. If there is an emergency, call 911.
Bridge provides non-medical appointment execution support in Lincoln, Nebraska. We help seniors navigate the logistics of medical visits, providing certainty for both the senior and their trusted contacts.
2) Services
Primary service: Doctor / Hospital Appointment Support — $89 flat.
This service includes:
- Pre-appointment confirmation
- Pickup at home
- Walk-in assistance
- Check-in support
- Waiting during the appointment
- Safe return home
- Bridge Completion Report provided to an authorized trusted contact
3) Non-medical boundaries (Crucial)
Bridge and Bridge Captains do not provide the following:
- No medical advice, diagnosis, clinical interpretation, or treatment decisions.
- No medication administration, handling of prescriptions, or wound care.
- No physical lifting or transfer assistance (Bridge Captains may provide light stability support but cannot lift a person).
- No clinical advocacy or medical records management.
- No emergency medical transport. In an emergency, call 911.
4) Bridge Completion Report
The Bridge Completion Report is a plain-language service update. It is not a medical record, diagnosis, clinical summary, or substitute for professional medical instructions. It is intended solely to verify that service steps (pickup, check-in, return) were completed.
5) Eligibility & consent
By booking, you represent that you have authority to arrange the service. You confirm that the senior being supported has consented to the service, and that you are authorized to share their information with Bridge. You also confirm that any trusted contact listed is authorized to receive the Completion Report.
6) Safety & Captain discretion
Bridge Captains may stop or refuse service if conditions are unsafe or outside Bridge's non-medical scope. This includes requests for medical care, aggressive behavior, or environments that pose a risk to the Bridge Captain or the Senior. If an emergency occurs, the Bridge Captain will call 911.
7) Scheduling, timing, and wait
Appointment times can be unpredictable. The service includes waiting during the appointment unless the customer requests otherwise. Clinics can run late; your total duration may vary.
8) Payments, fees, and tips
Prices are shown at booking. Taxes may apply. Tips are optional unless required by law. Bridge facilitates payment and pays Bridge Captains.
9) Cancellations & refunds
- Cancel 24+ hours before scheduled pickup: full refund.
- Cancel less than 24 hours: a cancellation fee may apply to compensate reserved Captain time.
- No-show (Captain arrives and customer is unavailable): may be charged in full.
If Bridge cannot staff your appointment, you will not be charged (or you'll be refunded).
10) Customer responsibilities
- Provide an accurate pickup address, appointment location, and timing.
- Provide clear mobility and safety notes (e.g., walker use, stairs, pets).
- Ensure the senior is ready for pickup at the scheduled time.
- Ensure the senior brings ID, insurance cards, and any required appointment paperwork.
- Authorize Bridge to communicate with the designated trusted contact.
11) Liability & disclaimers
Bridge is not liable for clinical outcomes, missed diagnoses, provider decisions, or health complications. Transportation delays, clinic delays, weather, and third-party events can affect timing. To the extent permitted by law, Bridge disclaims all warranties and limits liability to the amount paid for the service in the prior 30 days.

13) Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Effective date" above reflects the latest version.
